Glenn Miller and his Orchestra

Glenn Miller talks with motion picture star Irene Manning on one his BBC propaganda broadcasts in November 1944, just a few weeks before a plane carrying Miller disappeared over the English Channel. Manning performed five songs with Miller's AAF-AEF Orchestra on those broadcasts.

Miller's Band of the Allied Expeditionary Forces returned to New York City in late 1945.
